    I am not very savvy at all with blackberry's but when you do a device switch, do you not get all the apps and photos, videos, etc that were on the old phone transferred to the new?

    You won't with from bbos7 to bb10, because its base on different code, if I'm correct bbos7 was java based and bb10 runs off a QNX kernel. You can transfer your songs and videos but no apps.
