I think when I got my Z, when I went to reply to an email, it automatically launched the keyboard and placed the cursor ready for me to type the response.

Now, when I hot Reply to All, it creates my response email, but I'm not ready to type. I have to click in the email to get my cursor and keyboard.

I think the problem started when I upgraded to 10.2. Is there a setting in missing?

Not sure. Mine goes straight to the message body for me to reply and does pop the keyboard. I don't recall any settings.

Sounds like something else is stealing the cursor focus.

I see what you're saying but the idea behind the change is that you are presented the option of adding an attachment or editing prior to typing out your reply.
I imagine they did this due to feedback about being able to access options before typing.
It's simple enough to tap in the body to bring up the keyboard.

I have to add files several times a day so this way works better in my case.

Why they can't make that an option....i don't know. They added a choice of message count in the HUB so an auto keyboard pop up should also be an option.
