I'm on BB10 .99 on a Z10 and do have Whatsapp 5773 installed. I remember that in an earlier version of Whatsapp, a peek/hub notification showed when a message arrived. This is no longer the case. Are you guys experiencing the same or is there a setting to make this work?

I am sure there was a bell notification in the previous version of Whatsapp. And people were able to respond from within the hub. There are several threads where users talk about that.

Yes with 10.0 there's the bell but in 10.1 there's the separate notification icon

Are you seeing any notifications (with the bell) at all? When I did my last OS update, it caused the general notification category to disappear completely.

So far I haven't seen any. But I'm back with BlackBerry since yesterday only. It might well be that I just didn't get any messages to create bell notifications.
The previous thread that you pointed me to, did it say that all you can do in such a case is to reinstall the OS!?!

Many people lost the "Notifications" bell in the Hub once they updated to the latest official OS. I was one of them

I'm hoping the soon to come 10.1 will bring it back as I don't feel like either wiping my device or restoring an older backup to bring it back.
