I hate this bug, my whatsapp icon on ma menu always signals that I have a message yet there's no messages, cant they fix this bug, they once did with the older updates but it's back again

...what version is that on?
Also, uninstall the app, restart the device and reinstall. Once done, test again. If it still does it, report it via the apps report option or via the review section on BBW.
Will the chat history be deleted when you uninstall whatsapp and reinstall it again?
