    I don't think that you need max brightness at all times. For myself, I usually keep it at around 25-30%.
    The Z10 does well in outdoor conditions. Never had to go above 50% in the sun.

    I can't can't handle brightness at 100% it hurts my eyes. I'm at maybe ~55% and I'm not that old (only 23) so no old man eyes here lol

    That still doesn't help. I'm going to make a mini ruler with percent marks and past it on the screen when it I want to change the screen resolution.

    The light sensors do a good job adjusting the brightness, so I really haven't found myself messing around with it.

    I've had mine at 100 % since day 1 and I've gotten many positive comments on hoe nice bright and clear the screen is.

    I turn 24 in May and I'll get me a Z10 for it, but just to tell you that I do feel old at 23 hehehe.
