Seems like the Z10 has a plus by letting users have a spare battery handy and switching during the day. But some heavy users rather gripe about the battery, than realize that the Z10 has the freedom of accessing the battery, which is better than a closed up phone that treats it's users as if they're in kindergarten and not able to be trusted with handling batteries.

Exactly. Don't require the second battery 'cos I normally get a full day out of mine and charge the Z10 up again during the night, but if I did need one I have the option of having one. : )

Whoosh.....!!!!!!!!!! Careful! Z10 in action here!

Nice assessment. I'm a heavy user and never once complained about battery performance. I think it is really good myself. The spare battery charging pack is a huge bonus too. I realized this the second night with my Z10 when I spent the entire night in emerg with my Dad. Never missed a beat. That's something I really hated about my iphone4. A slave to the cord. But I have been released!

I've been getting a chuckle reading how some have bought 2 or 3 cases for their new z10, but no spare battery.

The z10 battery is now at least as good as most smartphones, and better than most. Then add that you can switch out batteries?

I won't buy a phone unless I can remove the battery.

I have two extra batteries for my Bold and the 3 times I've had to use them was worth every penny. Better to be over prepared and ready I always say.....as my wife hunts for a receptacle to charge her iPhone.

I bought the battery charger and was using it multiple times a day but now hardly ever use it. The z10 lasts all day no problem.

I was complaining that the initial release was just a tactic to get me to buy the battery charger

Complain if it's good. Complain If it's bad. Can't win.
