I would have to say your network connection type (LTE, UMTS, EDGE & GSM). When your device is consistently searching for the strongest network, you can pretty much see the battery drain.

When ever I am in a building where there is limited to no connectivity I change my connection type to GSM. The EDGE and GSM networks have better building penetration, allowing them to stay connected easier, thus using less battery life ☺☺.

As mentioned above, if you're indoors and locked on wifi, switch over to GSM and you will notice SIGNIFICANT battery life improvement.

I just bought the battery bundle. Battery is decent it gets me through the a full work day. Only during the weekend I find myself using the second battery. Also I feel comfortable having a spare battery. No need to worry like I used to with my Iphone.

We can, we just have to access the engineering screen.
I stumbled upon it a few days ago and force it to edge when I find myself at less than 20% with no way to charge it for a while.
Not the most convenient thing to do though.
