I just sold my q10 earlier this morning and bought a z10 right after. I miss the snappiness of bb10 os on my q10 but the screen is really tiny for my needs since im a multimedia nerd. As much as i would like to keep my q10 its stopping me from enjoying lits of things.

Doesn't affect me one bit, WiFi Direct works well, plus I've configured my Z10 in a such a way that I can access media content from my other devices. For example, any photos taken on my iPad can be viewed from my Z10 (Just one example of the many fun ways you can play around with your home WiFi network).

Not exactly. It's more for media playback versus Miracast which can mirror your screen. Think HDMI without the cable.

You can, but with HDMI and Miracast you can see what you see on your screen. For example you can display your home screen with HDMI and wirelessly with Miracast but you can't do this with WiFi direct.
