Right now I have everything set to default. For me personally I really can't tell that much of a difference between each little ding or sound blip. This isn't really a big deal since I see the blinking red and just swipe into the Hub to see what's up. But just for personalization/customization sake, I think I'd like to change some things.


Was just curious what everyone was using as their notification sounds? (BBM, emails, txts, etc...)
Any suggestions?

I usually keep mine phone on silent mode, but when I have it on "Normal" I have my own custom sounds I created in the studio.

I use my OS 6/7 notifications stored on my SD card. Louder and much more distinctive then the native Z10 library. Plus, they are all I used for years, so I just like them!

I use HUB++ and have a variety of LED lights and patterns set for different e-mail services, texts and some specific senders, but no sounds except for the phone and my ringtone is "Hells Bells" with a different ring tone for my wife: The theme from Pirates of the Caribbean

Phone call: I rotate between Game of Thrones and Hell on Wheels opening song
Email and Facebook I just use the LED, I don't need to be notified of those.

Phone - Ringer_ClassicPhone
Texts - Notifier_BBpro_6
Email - Notifier_Crystal
Facebook - Balance
Reminders - Active

Looking forward to being able to specify a different tone for each of my email accounts once I get 10.1. I have 6 accounts and I really only need to be notified of 2 or 3 of them.

I haven't really explored many of the new BB10 tones yet.

Phone - varies between 24 Jack Bauer, FFVII Fanfare and Super Mario
Text,FB, Email,whatsapp etc. I use the BBM tone: smooth

I'm not a big fan of different tones for each notification. I am just waiting for bebuzz or any colour id thing to be available for whats app then I am fine. Since my phone is mostly on solent anyway.
