I deleted my Gmail account on my Z10 just so I could add it again to choose the forever option. And now my Gmail calendar is not showing up!

    Any help out there?

Have you checked to see if A. the gmail calendar can be found in the Calendar Settings menu? If it's been selected to be displayed? Also, check the gmail account settings to see if it's the default for Calendar. Lastly, if you've chosen to sync 'forever' it can take a while for everything to show up. I don't know how long ago you made the changes, but if we're talking minutes, give it at least an hour and check again

Don't worry, just add the gmail account again and it will (provided you down turn the calendar sync switch off during setup).

Thanks. Looks like it came back. But only after I added the Gmail account again. This time it asked if I wanted to sync my calendar. But now I don't know if the forever option was negated!

How do I know if the forever option is still "on" now that I have re-added the Gmail account (through the regular way, not advanced) just to get my calendar back. The only mention I can see about forever is the initial retrieval amount.

The Initial Retrieval amount = the Forever option for retention.

And that can only be set during initial setup so if you want to change it, remove the account and add again, making sure to hit Advanced after you enter the password.
