    But not inside the bbm application when you change your bb profile picture. On my z10 at least. Cropping on the previous version is very hard most specially if the picture is low res. But now, there are actually four guided on the picture that you can pinch and adjust. Within the bbm application you can directly edit the picture already.

    Regarding BBM pics, not mine but for contacts. IIRC, previous OS's I could use my contact app pic for them in lieu of their chosen pic , or use a pic if they didn't add one themselves, right?

    Am I missing a setting for that somewhere on BB10, or is that not available anymore? Hate blank avatars on BBM, and for a few that I don't want to "block" in groups, I would rather not see the more risqu or "Vulgar" avatars. I want to still have them as contacts, just would rather change the pic.
