Well, I am not sure if other people wants it too, but I would like to have real home screen with widgets, as Android has.

I haven't gone through the entire thread so not sure if this has been posted but FASTER FILE RETRIEVAL and better file manager !!

Right now it takes forever for my Z10 to read a giant picture folder and when I finally get a specific photo or file, the quality of FILE PROPERTIES is very poor or non existent.

    1. Lock screen with an unlock more like android would be great (or at least numbers, or something easier than keyboard)
    2. A Maps app that isn't HORRIBLE
    3. Obviously iron out the bugs with contacts
    4. Obviously make the damn Blackberry stop rebooting overnight, and if it MUST reboot overnight, can it please go back into bedside mode once it turns on, so it's not bleeping and blooping all night and making me want to throw it out a window
    5. The voice control button, why can't it be a convenience key like the previous blackberries? At minimum, let me disable it, because I find voice control useless but end up pushing it 10 times a day if my case is on
    6. Battery Percentage instead of just picture
    7. Panorama for Camera
    8. Let me go through the dictionary and delete custom words I put in accidentally through an accidental swipe up on a typo and don't want anymore. EG. make the phone stop changing "its" to "Ira". I don't know how that happened, but it always changes my "its" to "Ira" and it's infuriating.
    9. Option to have popup notifications would be nice

    annddd I'm done.

    So glad you asked.
    1:The ability to shortcut your
favorite doc's,spreadsheets, songs, movies into the homescreen or a folder
    within the homescreen.

2: The addition of skydrive access to
    file manager.

    3a: Remember app.....synchronization
issues. ie: opening evernote on the pc
to have it not show changes made on
z10 and then have the desktop overwrite
    the z10's changes upon synchro.

3b: Remember app synchro with box is
hit and miss. Box sometimes shows changes.

3c: Remember app Access to and adjust of synchronization
settings, such as the ability to manually push
synchronization and or set frequency thereof.

3d:ability to recognize set tags on synchronized evernote
,msn folder files. So far it only appears on native unshared
    folder files.

3e: ability to add checkbox to evernote and other externally
synchronized files. as above only the local folder files allow it
and in a very non apparent way. ie inputting and adding a note
from the initial entry box only and not with the "+" buttons.

3f: carrying over formats of evernote and other externally
    synchronized files. todo styles etc.

4: To Share items with homescreen , native file structure
and sdcard folders even when originating from within
above locations to another folder in the same tree.
ie: homescreen folder a to homescreen folder b. similar to
    1st request.

    5:keyboard manipulation.
changing the size of the "keypads" and
location as well as letter designations and opacity
Perhaps even a larger area for keypads
over some of the message already typed but have
    the letter keypads mostly translucent.
or the ability to run the keys up the sides or stack them up
    top.

5b: increasing message realestate by shrinking
the overhead box that identifies who
you are conversing with. ie facebook
    messenger.

6: When sharing a file to multiple locations ie Box and remember,
to have any changes within the Parent source pushed
to the children and the ability to set the direction of
changes. ie: read/write permission on each file
so that if a change is made in child folder 2 it may or may not
be reflected on the parent file.

7: Setting the degree of angle manually as to when the
rotation of screen initiates. ie: sometimes it
rotates when i turn it a little and sometimes
    nearly horizontal.

8: wifi consistancy. wifi synch is hit and miss
    even right beside router.

9:back up issues with Link. Stops halfway
    when plugged in.

10: windows network integration over wifi
is inconsistant as well. sometimes the folders
are available and then they're gone. peekaboo
love bblink sharing though, it's great option.

11:swiping while in landscape mode and moving
from a landscaped app to a portraited app can be
tedious. swiping up in landscape is almost impossible
and I usually end up rotating to portrait. That is if
it rotates. ie the browser. Sometimes I will
open the browser while I am in portrait and it will
    be in landscape. lol.

12: Crackberry gals and guys. I tried signing on
to post a reply with my z10 last night and got
the "please wait". For several hours. Tried reentering
info many times then left it overnight. yah still
waiting. Had to post this via another
non bb phone. wth is with that. Otherwise
Love your site. Truly a fan of both BB and CB.
    keep up the good work.

Contact should have a field for storing GPS position (altitudes and latitude) , when this link is clicked default maps should give the guidance.

Also default maps should be selectable as BlackBerry Maps is not supporting every country.

The ability to go to landscape mode for Q10. Maybe as a choice for apps, like all will open default in portrait, but a settings for us to choose whether we want it to open in landscape. Maybe videos can all open automatically in landscape.

Best would of course be the auto switch between portrait and landscape just by tilting the phone.

    3 BBs in 3 years. 9000 > 9900 > Q10. send from Q10
The screen on the Q10 is SQUARE. This means that the height is equal to the width. There is no "portrait" mode on the Q10, nor a "landscape" mode on the Q10, because there is simply no difference.

Sorry forgot about the contacts...... and the ability to access local contacts and
    synchronization between phone app contacts
and contacts app as they can show quite different
things. Not to mention trying to save changes
and sorting duplicates and Link access yikes
And Facebook's complete intrusion into contacts
without the ability to change the settings. Really
    WT#%* is that.
I think that's it. Thanks again

    1. notifications/profiles like OS7 where you can choose to silent the tone/vibration when in or out of the holster.

    2. auto on/off

    3. coloured LED options for contacts

    4. extended battery life (of cos!)

    5. notification icon at the top of the screen when you get a text/ email/ bbm/ etc.

With regards to number two we are already able to zoom in with the camera... you simply use your fingers in a pinching motion on the screen same as you would zoom in the browser or any other app that supports zoom in/zoom out.

    Hope that helps

More interactive lock screen please. I want my notifications popping up and revolving around the lock screen. Let say 30 min for each notification icon to bounce round as screen saver.

Secondly, I want to be able to manually download my provider OS just the generic blackberry where network provider OS versions are available on blackberry site.

OR blackberry should be able to display links to current and previous version of network providers OS and I can hav et he choice to install which ever one.

Hmmm... stop switching out of the
number keyboard when you hit the space bar.

Allow placement of folders and apps in a specific
position on homescreen or in folders
on a grid system instead of auto shifting
them upwards. I place folders and apps in relation
to frequent use and ease of access for my fingers
and thumbs. ie: pinned to a location be it a corner or side or
middle or 4 apps one in each corner with nothing in
    the center. etc etc

Allow choice of placements for app locations in the hub.
    Favorites up top. etc

Coming from a Curve 8900. My biggest pain right now is lack of wi-fi calling. I see there is now an app that allows calling people, but what about receiving calls and texts going straight to your main phone #?

I was in the Dominican Republic with my Curve exchanging texts with my wife, making calls and receiving calls over wi-fi. Same in Trinidad. I cannot do that right now with the Q10.

I'd like to see the ability to have incoming messages scroll across top of screen when they first come in. As they do on iPhone and Android.
Also like to see ability to organize and select the order of browser favourites. And have a folder for reading list in browser.
Also like to see next paragraph or return button on keyboard at all times even while in BBM or text messaging.
