    Hi
Some months ago I upgraded to a Z10 from EE, replacing an older Blackberry. The first Z10 they sent me did not work, so they sent me a replacement one, but never asked for the first one back.
It turned out that the first Z10 was not faulty - it was the SIM that was at fault.
I thought I would be cunning and sold the first Z10 on eBay, but the buyer returned it saying that it was blocked, suggesting it had been registered as stolen!
So now I have a brand new Z10 which cannot be used on a mobile network, ever!
What do I do with it? It is an expensive piece of metal and glass sitting on my desk gathering dust!
    Any suggestions welcome!

If it is barred, I'd suggest you return it to the carrier. It's rightfully theirs in the end, even if they forgot to ask for it back - it's probably the right thing to do anyways.

Yes, I got messages from my carrier reminding me to return my defective one or they would charge me.

But if you do keep it - spare parts is probably all it is good for - or as a mirror!

Likely only barred on the network that you are on. It is also likely locked to that network you are on as well so you would need an unlock code to use it on any other carrier.

Though the device rightfully belongs to your carrier and you should have returned it.

Share the awesome phone and give it to a friend who is on a different network?
