    As for Spyware, there is no spyware on your BlackBerry. So encryption, no encryption, doesn't matter.

    Generally speaking though, if you had a Spyware on your phone it would act as an insider and see even the encrypted content.
    The encryption is mainly used to protect your data if your phone is stolen.
