I've heard of this new technology being developed.

    They call it a cloth.

A lint-free microfiber cloth with a light spray of screen cleaning solution is recommended because this will do a thorough job and prevent scratches. You can find both of these at an office supply store. If you are looking to just do quick wipes throughout the day, a dry microfiber cloth will work.

I have gotten microfiber cloths with screen protectors when I bought them. I also got one as a promotional item from Samsung that came in a little carrying case that you could keep on your keychain.

When my screen gets a little grimy I spray a mixture of water & vinegar on a tissue & wipe it down. Works like a charm. I should note that I have an ultra clear screen protector from clarivue, not that it would make a difference. I'm sure a damp cloth works great too if your screen doesn't have too much oil from your fingers.

Home made eye glasses cleaner. Been doing it for years. 20% isop, rest water, 2 drops dish soap. Shake it up, keep it in a spray bottle with an optical cloth. Works great.

I heard that 10.2 takes care of the problem! Lol

Seriously the best way is to use a lint free cloth and get one of those screen cleaning product. Don't spray directly on screen!

I keep a handkerchief-sized piece of thin cotton cloth in my pocket and buff the screen when it gets smudged. I buy the cloths by the bagload (I have many uses for them) and they are stitch-free, cut from the same material as cotton undershirts. Lee Valley carries them if you are in Canada.

If you don't have a screen protector, stick with a microfibre cloth as that carries the least risk of scratches.

One of the best microfibre cloths I've ever used was the one that came with my Playbook. It is premium quality. Usually does the trick without cleaning solution.

The Z10 certainly attracts fingerprints. The suggestions of a microfiber cloth are all good. What works best for me is that I installed iSheildz (@iShieldz | Search results for: 'z10' | Screen Protectors | iShieldz screen protectors) screen protector. First - it's a great high-density protection that you forget is in place - but for your purposes it really hides all the fingerprints of day to day use. I have dropped the Z10 face down and there wasn't even a scratch visible on the screen except for a little dent where a pebble was (which some how smoothed out over the course of a day).

This might be a long term answer to the problem of carrying around glass cleaner and cloths.

PS: It also comes with it's own very small spray bottle of alcohol and a little microfiber cloth as well - which I keep in my PC case.

Bottle of cleaning solution, loosen the cap slightly, turn it upside down, and it's a leak version.

The inner lining of pants pockets. I've found that after typing, there's fingerprint dots all over the bottom portion of the screen. But whenever I take the phone from my pocket, the screen seems fine.

However, for more built up, stubborn markings, i use my wife's glasses cleaner and a micro fibre cloth.
