Guys, I planned to sell my z10 and buy a z30. I went to market and found a z30, the phone was almost new but I felt that my z10 is faster and fits in hand. The phone didn't feel premium in my hand. Camera result wasn't better than z10. I just wanna know that all the z30s are like that? Because the one he was selling me had a transparent sheet on its screen and there was some text written on it "this phone is not for sale" and there was also a UK mobile number was written next to it. I'm just wondering thay maybe it was some kind of a limited stock phone?

Because I was getting it pretty cheaper (270$). I came back because I wanted to ask it here before buying it.

As far as I know the camera is the same. It is definitely noticeably faster than the Z10 as I've owned both

Kind of sounds like this a demo unit or a pre production unit if it says not for sale on it

They have to make lots of prototypes for testing and refining the device before it is completely finalized

    I have a Z30 and a Z10 sitting side by side.

In phone usage, there's 0 noticeable difference in speed.

I'm having trouble getting used to the size of the Z30, but I've only had it for about an hour.

So guys with Z30? What do you think? Except for the screen size, do we have any other differences? I meant is it totally worth buying z30? One thing keeps fluctuating me that z30 has 1.5 GB ram. Anyway that's not the point..

I actually love z10 but it doesn't seem robotic z30 does

Processor is a tad quicker, better speakers on the phone and you can use miracast to have fun with. If you have the money, get it.

Z3 has 1.5G of Ram, NOT the Z30, the Z30 has 2G just like the Z10. I own both and from my use, the main difference is screen size and battery life. Having said that, I haven't used my Z10 since last October when I bought my Z30 :-)

The speakers are night and day. I really like the quality of them, even the notifications sound more crisp.

OP, the variant of Z30 you came across might be the STA 100-1, which was never released. Anyway, check the variant and let us know which is it.

When I got my Z30 three weeks ago, I immediately thought I made a mistake. I couldn't type, I was having trouble reaching the top of the screen, and I just didn't like the big screen. I thought to myself "uh oh, this phone is too big to use".

After three days I had gotten used to it and didn't even notice the size anymore. Now I'm typing with fewer errors than I did with my Z10 and I absolutely love the speakers as I listen to music basically all day long. The battery easily lasts all day and night, with just one charge needed overnight.

To sum it up, it's an awesome beast of a phone

Guys guys guys! I was gonna be scammed. I went to market again. I saw 3 blackberry z30s all of them had "not for sale" punched at the bottom. The shopkeepers were being very kind to me they were ready to sell it for 250$. I immediately searched on Internet and found out that those devices are for testing purpose only and they are supposed to be returned to blackberry after a certain period or blackberry simply disables the devices. I found certain cases on Internet complaining the same that their "not for sale" devices shut down by BlackBerry.
Trust me today I almost bought the device

Sounds like you saved yourself a lot of grief! It really helps and is very important to do due diligence before buying something like a phone marked "not for sale".
