Had my old nexus laying around and wanted to be in with this instagram , vine, snapchat nonsense. Sure enough, got all my contacts switched over got all my new apps and accounts switched over, my friend was showing me what I could do in these new apps, and all while this was happening I kept peaking over to my Z10 sitting on the desk.. looking sleek, and sexy... and I felt sad, this was to weird, I didn't want to have to relearn how to manage everything on android. everything is so scattered, open and strange.

So I switched back to my Z10 after an hour... I think I'm addicted. This thing has my life on it, and without it I could manage someother way but I would always feel like a piece was missing.
Anyone else feel the same? Are you hopelessly addicted to your new bb10 device?

My friends had all the top apps; Instagram, vine, break, and all those nonsense. Due to peer pressure, I got a new iPhone 5s, but switched to bb10 cos the iPhone was not my thing

I take it you haven't loaded the leak of BlackBerry 10.2.1. You can run all the Android apps and keep your BlackBerry for the best of both worlds.

If you don't like installing leaks it should be released officially in the next few weeks.

There will be no more "app gap"!

I must say I am struggling to use my iPad lately. Since I have my BlackBerry Z10 have been so used to the sweeping gestures. Having a home button seems so outdated. Very happy with my z. Would not want to give it back again.

I had a HTC One for a month. I liked it but not as much as my Z10. Now I have a Q10 (2 days) and we will see.

Fell in love with BlackBerry when I saw the older Bold 9000. Definite addict. And daughter is too now. She named her phone Sherman.

To take this one step further, not interested in anything BlackBerry or not that doesnt run BB10. Wish more people would give it a chance. Three people I work with (out of 11) have converted just from messing around with mine for a while and getting used to it and now are in love too.... BB10 really offers a great user experience. Hope they dont give up on it...

I've been on Android since August and it's fine, but if T-Mobile had the Z30 I'd be giving it some thought.

You mentioned the "scattered everywhere" feeling, which is something I feel too when using an Android phone. I think the work flow of a device is the most important, yet least discussed aspect of device ownership. How the tool is used is more important than what the tool can do, essentially. BlackBerry really nailed this concept in the legacy OS and qwerty hardware and OS10, for the most part, continues that tradition.

Magnificently composed using CB10 on my BB Z10!

Bottom line is BlackBerry still gets it done for me. I do not have time or the desire (TBH) to futz around with a bunch of apps or do a lot of customization, or trying this and that. I've ruled out using anything other than BlackBerry because I can install the OS, pop in my email accounts (2 Gmail, 1 Yahoo and 1 Outlook.com) and get down to business. And also I just prefer using a BlackBerry (yeah I know other platforms can handle my emails before anyone bothers to state the obvious).

In fact I am now "looking" at the Z30 as a Z10 replacement at some point.

I used to use my old Bold 9900 in the shower. Two Ziploc bags did the trick

But I don't want to risk breaking my beloved Q10.

And if you use the Ziploc bag method, it's not my fault if you break your phone!
