I deleted WeChat and rebooted the device, also I restart the Hub and still appear with a dark icon in the Hub?

    Any suggestions?!

I was just about to delete wechat from my phone. Looks like I have to hold back deleting the app.
    Only closing the account currently.

I had the same problem. It only disappeared from the hub upon backing up and restoring from backup. Same for foursquare. It takes quite sometime and isn't convenient but no rebooting ever helped this annoying issue. Seems to be blackberry's problem rather than the app.

Yes unfortunately wechat whatsapp n few other apps notification will appear in hub after deleting the app itself and so far only solution is to restore or reload the os

If it still shows in the Hub after uninstall, try this as a workaround:

    Go to the Hub
    Tap the three buttons (options)
    Go into Hub settings
    Go into Hub management
    Choose WeChat
Set to 'show in hub only'
Back out to the main Hub view
    Should have disappeared

Most apps, even on BBW are ported from android, so they're the same thing. Just delete from app manager...the failproof way is to go in misc/android and look for the wechat files, and manually delete them.
