I'm using the weather app that came with the phone, I believe it's an accuweather app. Why is there a different accuweather app I'm the app store.

The stock one we have uses accuweather as source I belive, but it's not built by accuweather?

I have downloaded the tru accuweather app from the store instead. It's a lot better and smoother.

I agree, The Last Weather App is pretty cool. However, at least from my own experience there are many times the location is completely wrong and not even close to where I'm actually located. Also the weather itself is sometimes way off too. That being said, I still use it everyday and I do really like it.

    lol nice one. Hilarious.

Doesn't give future weather though so it's not a fullblown weather app. Needs to be complimented by another weather app. Also it gave sort of the wrong info for me when tryihg it just now. Incorrect weather. It said it's pissing down lightly but the sun is shining. Though it rained an hour ago.

BeWeather is probably the best weather app anyway.

I live in OKC and had the AccuWeather app running on my Z10 during that week of tornado hell. I got weather warnings like crazy and more weather data than I cared for in a lifetime. I deleted it and just went with the native version. If you are a weather buff, AccuWeather is great.

I guess we all have our personal preferences. I own BeWeather, but don't care for it and don't even have it installed anymore. Weatherbug was my favorite, but never came to BB10. I use The Weather Channel app mostly now .

Accuweather I wouldn't use. On computers it includes spyware. But the. Last weather app is great!

The Last Weather App is superb (and a great one to show any non BlackBerry friends who generally say, I'll get that - ok, get a BlackBerry then!) but also saving the BBC Weather site to home screen works very well as an 'app' in itself

The Canadian app 'The Weather Network' is a nice clearly laid out app. It's free and you can add locations from all over the world.

There's also yWeather and WeatherTrax, though I'm not too sure about quality. Give them a look.

My feelings exactly. BeWeather is probably the best "looking" weather app, but the content is anemic. The closest is gets to a forecast is are these silly little pictures of a sun with some clouds in front.

I find that Weather Network is most accurate for Canadian weather, but I like to leave my weather in an active frame and they haven't got around to adding one yet. Even with all the ads it's still my app of choice

And it's worth mentioning that BeWeather is a monstrous 60 MB, and the Weather Network, which is definitely (IMO) a much better weather app, is 4.5MB. Go figure that one out... The only downside to the Weather Network is its lack of maps.

    British English:

    English is more passive aggressive.

If you haven't tried it already, side load the Yahoo Weather app. It's actually quite amazing... other than the lack of an active frame, it's probably one of the best weather apps available now.
