On my Nexus 7, Waze app launch and shows fully rendered map in 7 seconds. But still, it lags from time to time.

I have no problems with the latest waze apk! It works great, smooth and just like normal Android apps in my Z30. And it doesn't consume much battery as you mentioned.

Please maintain a routine to shut down or restart your phone every 3 days. This will keep your BlackBerry 10 running smoothly.

I had the same issue with Z10 in the past. Now 7 seconds to load, 2sec on second start on Z30. Latest snap version, no lag, no freeze, and I usually use Spotify online on bluetooth car speakers and can receive GSM or wireless calls without any issues. 15% decrease in 30 minutes without any charger. My experience is Z30 handle android apps much better than Z10. Z30 is a great upgrade of the small brother.

I'm a big Waze fan but I'm quite certain that Waze killed my Z10. As a replacement I went to the Passport (2 weeks ago) which I love. Passport handles the power needs beautifully and the bigger screen makes viewing in a "no touch / distracted driving" jurisdiction less of an issue. As it's only been 2 weeks I'm curious about other Passport owners using Waze with more time in.

I never had any issues with Waze on any of my BB10 devices - including my Passport SE. Works well.

Note, stick with version 3.9.6.0. The latest update breaks it.

The Android version of Waze from Snap worked great on my Q10. I used the BlackBerry car charger with it. The only thing I could complain about is that the notifications didn't work perfectly, which is kind of annoying when you pass a cop that was reported while you're doing 90 miles per hour.

Mine works... Sometimes when it feels like working... Most of the time I end up using BlackBerry Maps instead. It's much faster, gets me there but unfortunately there is no traffic information on my BlackBerry Maps.

Maybe because BlackBerry Maps do not have sufficient users or something.

    It's about 2-3 second on iPhone 5s (iOS 9).

Not true for me. 10.3.2.28XX is fine. It's the latest Waze that has problems. Load the previous version.

All is great.

I need some serious help. I am trying to use waze on my PassportSQW100-1/10.3.2.2876. It just freezes on me and is a huge embarrassment for me and blackberry (my passengers love the form factor, but laugh when they see it won't run waze)

I decided to delete the app reboot and then reinstall, but now when I go to Amazon appstore it says open instead of download, but it's not on my device!

    Help!!!

I downloaded this and thought it was neat, but ended up not using it much. Then I downloaded a virus scanner and it kept identifying files from this app as potential problems. That's when I deleted it off my Z10. Going to stick with my Garmen for my GPS needs.
