It doesn't have to do with other people releasing leaks, but, it does have to do with an account being hacked to get the leaks that were released...more simply put, would you want someone taking files from your computer and releasing them? The file came from lbfe but was released by someone else...

as I understand it. someone hacked his server or account and released a leak he didn't think was worthy of a release. can't say I blame him for being pissed.

I wasn't, however he was and really we don't care about it but sometimes people who have leaks have valuable sources and have a time frame before we allowed to release to public as hard as that may seem.

Well I for one, although sad that I won't be getting anymore leaks, think that lbfe should stop. It is just that if one person of the community decides to disrespect someone, the entire community should pay. The person who released the leak should pay severely.

I only download the leaks from Chris and lbfe. The rest with x os I don't trust. I stick with those guys. Still on 1720 from Chris and I must say THANKS .

I don't even have a Z10 yet and I am voting for more leaks. I am getting my Z10 next week after my contract with T-Mobile ends tomorrow. I am transitioning to the simple choice plan with a Z10. So more leaks please!

I was going to say that this was ridiculous until I realized (read) that his account was hacked. That's not cool at all.

Not sure what voting is going to do. I don't so much see this as "if interested vote" as it is a security decision.

I hope he continues to support the users, but if he doesn't, who can blame him. We can be thankful for what he has given to the users thus far at least.

I don't see anything wrong at all with somebody legitimately posting a leaked OS that they obtained. Now, if the leaked OS was obtained from lbfe and was then posted to preempt lbfe posting the leak and to take his credit, I disagree with that move and I do agree that the individual who did it deserves some sort of warning. However, the fibbing isn't doing anyone a favor, including fibbing by either lbfe or anyone else. This is a community for god's sake, and leaks have been posted on here by many people since CB has been around covering BlackBerry. There is no exclusive right for any one person to release leaks and that should remain the case. Otherwise, what's the point...having one person have the monopoly over leaks is no different in principle than having carrier mandated releases. I don't like when I see things like "if I decide that I want you to have it, I will let you have it". That's not the spirit of CB.

So, back on topic, I think lbfe knows this well and I think that he will continue to post the leaks, despite any minor setbacks or issues along the way. I also believe that he is better than these petty disagreements and understands well that this is an open community where information is shared openly and not exclusive to one person.
