Anyone else have this issue? I can't seem to get rid of the VM icon on my home screen. When I go to Voicemail under the hub, I see the date and time of the VM. When I select it, holding on it and then pick delete, it won't frigging delete!

It is a bug in 10.0. Have to wipe and restore to fix. Just a shame. I am waiting on 10.1 from VZW to fix it.

Sweet. I got a second voice mail, and after I checked it the whole thing deleted. Problem solved

My voice mails, even in my old phone, didn't delete.

Not sure if it's a carrier thing or not, regardless, for me to get rid of the notifications, I would have to actually listen to the voice mail, and let the machine hang up, and then it would disappear.

I think it's a problem with the 'phone' app, seems disjointed from the Hub and contacts app. Receiving a second voicemail (and listening to it) will clear the issue, as you've learned though. Hopefully it's fixed in the next VZW update (whenever that's released), but I haven't had that issue with the leak I'm running now (10.1.0.2062).

Always answer voice mail from the hub to prevent this from happening again

To get rid of it use a old backup and restore

Thanks guys! I should just run a leak instead of waiting for Verizon and BlackBerry to square the next OS release.

As you suspected I am on the battery hog 10.0

I have tried your solution and nothing will remove the notification.

Has the notification persisted through a phone reboot? I'm thinking disrupting the network connection so that when it reconnects it detects that the voicemail has been heard might work. I haven't tried it myself though so I'm not sure if it'll work or not. Alternatively, you can toggle airplane mode off/on to achieve the same effect and see if it works without needing a reboot.

I fly 4 times per week so I go from airplane mode, to full power off, to battery pull, to a restart, and none of these have worked. I listen to voice mails completely and that does not work. Pulled the sim card and rebooted and so on. Nothing works. Sick of it, sick of VZW, getting sick of bb, and getting sick of this phone. I just want the update so I can move on.

Better performance than the latest .4651 from Mecca? I've been holding off on the .4xxx series until I got an idea of which build is ideal for VZW phones.

From what I can tell, yes. Not many have complained about VZW issues on that build. I mean, you could always do a test run for a week, then try Meccas release as well.

Lol very true, though another reason I haven't jumped to the .4xxx builds is because my laptop is still being serviced, so no autoloaders for me until I get it back.
