    My friend bought a z10 on Verizon, and loves it. However, he doesn't know how to use voice dictation, for texts, etc. He doesn't know what gestures to do, etc. Also, it might not be enabled in the settings, but I actually haven't used a z10 for longer than 5 minutes, so I don't know. Any help would be great. Thanks.

    If your friend presses and holds the period key on the keyboard display that activates the dictation feature...just start talking and press the done tab when finished...works ok, not as well as Sayit though.

    I've never used sayit but I haven't had any problems with my built in voice dictation.

    That's also built-in voice control with 10.2.
    Has wolfram alpha support in addition to all the calendar, alarm, messaging, reader, reminder, universal search, etc. functionality.
    Works hands free with blue tooth too. Handy while driving.

    The built-in voice control doesn't use Google voice for asr, so sayit's transcription is better.

    He press the button between the volume keys to active "SheBerry" lol, that's BlackBerry's siri like voice assistant.

    Oh, he's on Verizon. Not sure if they got 10.2 yet.

    Press button in between volume keys will activate voice control!! Doesn't matter if 10.1 or 10.2. Cheers
