    Hi Everyone,

Just wondering when i shoot a 1 min or so video on my Z10 and then try to send it in a text or email it wont send. Says file size is too big!
Also made a movie on story maker and went to send it out in an email and it was said to be a too large a file. And it was no more than a minute and it was made with pictures from my torch that are now on my Z10.

I am on the Bell network and my brother , who also is on Bell, sends me up to a minute videos or longer from his IPhone with no problems...(both email and texts)

    Wonder what the problem is?
I havent phoned tech support yet as i dont feel like waiting on hold for a long time, so i thought i would try here first for a solution.
Anyone have any ideas as to whats going on?

    Thanks in advance

I'd start by checking your record resolution. The Z10 shoots in both 720p and 1080p.

There is a file size difference.

People want megapixels and HD which makes huge files. Progress, right?

Have you asked the iphone user what resolution they use to send?

The best way is to upload to something like box. Typically emails won't allow large files.

How can you do this from your Z10? I can't see any option to share folders there!

1080p video will be way too big to email. Not sure how to do it throughout as I don't yet have a Z10.

obviously its too big, most email attachments only accept up to 25mb. i know my gmail does. and video recording in 1080p can easily shatter that in a few seconds. scale down the resolution to like 480p

Ok so heres the fix. Obviously the Z10 is capable of HD Vids, either 1080 or 720 right! Well instead of giving us MMS format which typically results in very small or too blurry vids to see, BBRY left us hanging. Well I thought of a work around this past weekend. Record whatever vid you'd like, whatever size, whatever res... SAVE it to your cloud storage, remember Dropbox and Box apps are built for the OS and come preloaded. Share the vid, by sending the link to the vid. It can be shared to anyone even if they don't have the type of cloud storage you're sharing it from. The vid should flawlessly play in the recipients browser.

Give this a try and lemme know what you think. Pretty slick workaround if you ask me. Just a suggestion.

Now can someone suggest an easier way to record voicenotes. I'd like to get to the bottom of that.
