    I have a Z10.

I want to send a 15second video I took by email. Is there an app that can help me?

I tried compressing the file in file manager but both the original and zipped version of the file are both 19mb. Messed up!

I post mine on YouTube and email the link. Have not found a way to email the actual video. Or I would post it directly on FB.

or sync with Box/dropbox and send the link

also, try to reduce video resolution to 720p?
but it will be too large as well I think.

I use Sugar Sync. No size limitations. Send a link thru email and let the person download it.

What's the point of zipping a file on blackberry if it remains the same size?

You still have to go to a PC to do this, and even then, the link requires Adobe Flash, so won't be viewable on most devices.

Jf you have a Hotmail or Outlook account you can upload to skydrive. And share with email contacts from there.

Your email attachment limit should be a server or provider set limit. You can also try a different email.

But there's lots of ways to transfer now. Dropbox, Sky drive, Hightail.

Most video files are already compressed. If it was uncompressed then it would be quite a bit larger than 19 MB.

You can't compress video. You can drop it via wifi on your desktop. But as said before, use a cloud or youtube.

Being 15 seconds long I don't really think it would be any larger. Even when I transferred to my laptop, windows still shows it as 19 mb and my email caps at 12mb. For now I compressed and resized it on windows but I was hoping there was an app or some other way on blackberry like the other platforms seems to have

If this is a one off email that you just want to send do like the spys do.

Create a email just for the sending of this video.
Place the video in the email and let it go to drafts.
    Close email.

Give your friend the email and password when they go into drafts they view it.
Never sent, no trace. Size limit avoided.
