I've noticed that when shooting video my Z10 constantly attempts to focus on the object that I center in the crosshairs (I know they're not crosshairs but I don't know what else to call those brackets): it focuses and then goes slightly out of focus, followed by focusing again... lather, rinse. repeat...

For the record I have the following video camera settings:
- Normal Shooting Mode
- Auto Scene
- Light: off
- Size: 1080p

I save onto my MicroSD which is a SanDisk Ultra 64GB

When you play the video back it's very apparent and annoying.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I think the stabilization is to reduce motion caused if my hand moves while filming, but it doesn't influence the focus.

I don't know if this is only for 10.2, but you can lock the focus "crosshair" by a long press on the crosshair, a lock symbol will appear. To unlock, double tap on the crosshair.
