Yeah, I'm getting this too. In fact, for me, it's not just happening on videos I have stored on the phone, it's happening to YouTube videos and other streamed videos too.

My issues are not with YouTube that I have noticed but with videos I put on my z10 I've tried different videos so it's the phone that's the issue

well i really hope they fix this quickly as I do a lot of that on my current phone. really hoping the next update fixes this as bb10 is otherwise a great platform

YouTube is fine never tried a video loaded on to Z10 yet maybe do so as a test.

It happens with all my videos, tends to be worse with increasing video quality. Really annoying.

This is a real problem. I bought my BlackBerry z10 yesterday with big hopes to keep some movies on it. Yesterday I got an hdmi with it and plugged it into my tv loaded up a movie in the videos app and the video and audio out of sync makes it unwatchable. Very disappointed!

When it happens, just go back in the movie a little bit(30 seconds) and it syncs back up, for a while.

This is a codec issue happens on my pc as well, usually on my pc a quick fix is to use a different media player... maybe a similar solution can be used for our phones? youtube im stumped sorry

I run my video's through HandBrake (free) with the following settings and it works fine for me.

Picture:
- Keep Aspect Ratio
- Anamorphic: None
- Cropping: Automatic

Video Filters:
All filters are Off, except for Denoise: Medium

Video:
- Video Codec: H.264 (X264)
- Framerate: Same as source
- Constant Frame rate
- Constant Quality: R21

Audio:
- Codec: AAC
- Mixdown: Dolby Pro Logic
- Samplerate: Auto
- Bitrate: 160
- Gain: 15 (otherwise can't hear anything when commuting)

Everything else is default.
Obviously some settings are personal preference and can be modified according to taste.
Nevertheless the Z10 is quite impressive with the breadth of video formats it can handle.

this is the ONLY ONLY issue keeping me from buying the Z10, so I hope that they fix it in the next update (handbrake and converting isn't an option)

This is an issue with more phones than z10. My s3 has same issue with YouTube and some videos you put on. The higher the quality you make the video the more likely to have issues. As to the streaming sync issues it is likely more to do with your connection than the phone itself.

All phones have variations of this problem. My wife's I phone is the same. As was my old android from HTC.
