Just left my friendly neighborhood Verizon store...with a new black BlackBerry Z10!

Only had it less than an hour...but, impressions so far...

*Build feels solid. Feels good in hand.
*Touchscreen isn't as sensitive as the iPhone 5's.
*Took me FOUR downward swipes with my thumb to finally answer my girlfriends incoming call! Not a fan of no dedicated button to connect.
*But...call volume & call quality better on Z10 than iPhone 5

    I've got 14-days. We'll see...

YOu are coming from an Iphone 5 yet you arent a fan of not having a dedicated answer key??? Interesting.. and im not sure of the verison phones, but the ones ive used, including my own have been extremely sensitive on the first touch.. except for text editing ...

But Im sure you will love it, if you have already excepted the apps limitations... learn the sideloading thing... its awesome

On those downward swipes to answer, you have to place your finger on the white bar. It will not answer if if you swipe all the way down from the top (like I was doing at first).

My Z10 doesn't seem to have any touch sensitivity issues. It only takes me one try to answer every time.

Yeah I haven't had a problem with mine either and I always make sure to swipe from the top bar not the top of the phone.

Yeah, you actually have to 'grab' and 'pull' the call bar that comes up, random swipes won't cut it.

    Congrats! Hope you like it.

Yeah the answering call thing got me too. You have to hold down on it and move down or up. I like it! Congrats on the new phone.

Kudos on going with the Z10, in 14 days I'm sure you'll be even more impressed. Completely agree with you on the build quality, that was a big bonus for me, feels solid and I like the battery cover texture a lot.

Enjoy, and make sure to look up every so often!

You have to tap the gray bard and drag it, not swipe.

Congrats on your phone. I'm sure you will love it. The phone answer thing got me at first too. Also when ending a call i often have to hit the end call button 3 or 4 times for it to work, hope you don't have that problem. I still love the phone anyway.

Thats not a sensitivity issue, thats a clunky phone app issue, sure that will get fixed really soon

Is it true that all Verizon's Z10 are also can run on GSM Network (GPRS/EDGE/GSM(850/900/1800/1900) HSPA/UMTS(900/2100) like stated on Verizon website?
And is it unlock? Does it come with sim card on Verizon like on iPhone5?

Congrats on your new Z10....as explained by other folks here, you touch the white bar and drag/swipe down to answer an incoming call

    DRAG/SWIPE UP to REJECT CALLS
