    Each evening I get a notification from Verizon about the update - has been happening for about a week now. I keep ignoring it.

    Maybe Verizon heard their BB10 costumors complaining about the lack of an update and now keeps pushing the same update over and over just to bug them :P

    Most likely what nickcarraway posted. One other change that guarantees that Verizon will annoy you
    with a 5mb to 7mb update is sideloading the Porsche clock bar, it wants to revert to its own.

    Yup, got another one last night - same size as you mentioned. Since I don't grab it, I can't tell you what is inside that update.

    Bloatware, aka slacker, bing and my VZW apps. Delete them and it will show an update avail

    I got this also. Turns out, from another thread, if you download BlackBerry Virtual Expert from BB World, and have your OS updates set to automatically download, it will prompt you for the 5 mb update, then if you do, BBVE disappears from your home screen. Supposed to be because it is now integrated into the Help app.
