    Anyone else on Verizon in the states receive an 8mb update today?

    I did and after the update it said my phone had been up dated to the very same version I had prior to the update...mounds like a big fix

    You likely deleted a carrier installed app. I put all of carrier's crap ware into a special folder.

    It's because you deleted one of the apps that came with the phone. It reinstalled it. Not an actual update
