I have a Verizon Z10. Most of the time it does not display 4G or LTE but sometimes it does. When it goes to 3G or 1X it displays those. It nothing but the signal strength, the blackberry dots and the wi-fi are displayed, does that mean it is in 4G?

When you're using Wi-Fi for your data needs it shows the Wi-Fi strength if you're on the 4G LTE network away from Wi-Fi it will show the 4G LTE symbol.
