    Just noticed something interesting, when using the blackberry Maps, you can enter your destination, tap "go" to get the route, and then tap "start" to update the route. Once you are here, you can turn off your wifi and data service, the GPS will still give turn by turn navigation.

    You may want to try this if you have a limited data plan.

    Well, the Z10 has autonomous GPS like every single other device out there, so I really don't see why it wouldn't work.

    Only issue is if you take a dtour or miss an exit. Then it needs to recalculate and that uses data.
