Did you notice that even though you had erased your sms from the hub they still keep appearing with the search function? Thus leading to inconveniences of different order.... Could anyone explain how to delete SMS once and for all without having to perform a security wipe?

Don't have this happening on Z10 or 30.

    What OS are you running?
Have you gone to the actual text message app and long pressed the text you want to delete and deleted it from there?

Running 10.2.1.176. Try this: delete message on the hub, it appears as erased, you may think message has gone forever... nope, nein nyet, nada... try the search option with the name of the contact you had sent the message and... surprise.. it is there.... !!! no deletion has been performed. Think of a sensitive message you do not want to be read by any curious eye tracking your activities ... you are lost man... what security us this?

Unless you password protect your phone do not expect any level of security in the least.

Delete works for me. It actually deletes. Search does NOT find it.
