Weirdest symptom. I updated to 10.2.1 and now when I call people (or they call me) I can't talk to them. I can hear them fine, and if I go to speaker phone I can talk to them fine, but not in a "normal" call.

Any idea if there's a setting some where that would be muting the microphone (besides the actual mute button in the call)?

The center side button (between Vol) is a Mute button.

Download the free, Blackberry Virtual Expert to test all kinds of aspects of the phone.

That happened to my phone. I don't think it's software related. I had to get a new phone. I could make voice notes and my videos had no sound either.

If it didn't start until you updates to 10.2.1, then I would suspect software. We're it my phone, I would connect to Sachesi and reinstall a few apps related to the phone/mute/speaker/radio. Or, you could reinstall the OS.

Have you tried BlackBerry Virtual Expert to see if the Microphone is working?
