My z10 STL 100-1 is running 10.3.1.1779, which is the last official update for my phone, it seems. I'm considering updating to 10.3.2 manually, but wanted to make sure people haven't had any conflicts with their 100-1s.

Is there any reason not to upgrade? Any conflicts people have had with the 100-1 and the most current (or best) version of 10.3.2?

    Thanks

I would update. 10.3.2 has a lot of bugs fixes over 10.3.1, handles memory better, and has a few new features.

    I would go for 10.3.2.2813:

Thanks for the input, Conite. I've assumed that 10.3.2 would be better, but my hesitancy was/is that the 100-1 stops automatically updating at 10.3.1. I didn't know if there might be some conflicts or if the phone lacks the horsepower to run 3.2 appropriately. It has been hard to find info from actual 100-1 users about if they had any issues specific to this model.

    Thanks again for throwing in.

That's only because your carrier stopped supporting the device a while back.

Okay, I'm glad you brought this up, so I can understand it once and for all.

My phone was unbranded, unlocked, and bought on Amazon. Over time, people on this forum have told me that my update notices were coming from AT&T, or from Blackberry themselves, since it was unbranded and unlocked. Some have said what you have, that 3.1 was the last update because the carrier quit supporting it, and others have said that Blackberry stopped the updates at 10.3.1 for the 100-1s but not other versions.

I'd love to have a better idea on all this.

So it's your understanding that there's no conflict or lack of capability with the 100-1 and 10.3.2?

    Thanks again.

We can try to unravel the whole thing, but it really doesn't matter. The bottom line is that your device will be fine with 10.3.2.
