Hi, guys. I'm really confused right now. I have a FB account, and to be honest, I hate the FB native blackberry app. But I use it. In the long list, this is the latest I have encountered.

This is my profile:



As u can see, I have a pic on AC4 as my profile picture. I then press and hold the pic to change it. I then select this picture as my profile picture:



After a short while, this appears on the screen:



It says "Profile Picture Updated".
But if you look, my profile picture hasn't changed. Its still the picture I had before.



My profile picture hasn't changed. However, when I tap on the profile picture, this appears:



It's the picture I changed to as my profile picture. I don't know why it doesn't appear on my profile. It only appears when I tap the existing profile pic. I thought maybe it took some time to update, but I waited AGES and it still wouldn't change. On the browser, I can see it already made the change. Why doesn't it work on the app?

Please anyone reply ASAP.

When you put it in active frame ,long press the little x to totally close the app and open it again.

I have tried siff way but still it didn't work.
You can try delete your facebook acc and add it again.
My profile pic changed after I delete my fb account.
Maybe it will work on yours.

I believe it is already changed but the Facebook app is not showing it on your end only, meaning your friends is seeing the updated one. Try to view it first on the browser and check if it is really already updated.

Yh I changed my profile picture right now an it shows the change on the browser but not on the app. I don't know why.

It will eventually sync. I changed mine two days ago and I think it just sync today.

Try delete your fb account and re add it again.
It should work because I already tried it and works on me.

Facebook native app only sync photos at least once a day. I think to conserve battery.

If you check your contacts' photo on Contact app not all of them are insync if your contact recently change his or her own profile picture.

What's "dn"? By the way, I changed my profile picture yesterday and I still can't see the change in the native Facebook app.

It's probably just the cache taking time to update.
If you can see the change on a browser then it's changed.
Have you tried a hard reboot?
Hold down the power and keep holding it down until you see the BlackBerry logo when it's restarted.
Have you made sure that you've got the most up to date version of the app?
Have you tried to delete and re-add the account?

I changed mine using the app, and took 2 days to appear within the app. Yet my friends & myself using the browser would see the change. I'd guess it's an issue with the app......

It is clear that the app only sync the photos once every 24 hours or 48 hours which ever is the correct one.

But for myself and the other poster, I believe it's around 48 hours.
