When I check for software updates, it says there is one available. I proceed with the update, and when it is finished it says the update has been installed. Now, when I restart the phone and go back to check for updates, it says there is one, and when I proceed it installs the same one over again. Riddle me this?

Are you deleting carrier apps after you run the update? Because if you are, that will force another update but it will only be a small update consisting of the carrier apps you deleted.

Right now I have a 1mb update. I've tried downloading (successfully) a few times now. I have both Telus apps installed yet still comes back. I just ignore this now, started happening when I had to do a backup and updated link

I am not deleting carrier apps. But they are small updates. I am with rogers.

Same here.. a 1 mb update from rogers... since yesterday.... have dl and installed several times...still shows as being there... my partner's phone does the same.

I have the same issue.....took pictures showing it updated then shows the old one and states I ha e the latest OS.
