Last night updated my phone to the 10.3.0.1154 as per someone's suggestion from somewhere in this forum, got around finishing restoring at around 6am and left it to charge until I woke up around 12.15pm. Very impressed with the battery life compared to the previous firmware, Z10STL100-1/10.2.1.3247 that would get me only around 5-7 hours with normal to heavy use.

    Update to 10.3.0.1154, impressed.-img_20140930_220923.png

The BlackBerry keyboard however doesn't work in LINE messenger which is for Android. I used the following fix for it and installed SwiftKey for Android and it worked like a charm. There's an awkward space above and below the keyboard though, so the screen size got squeezed a little smaller and the spacebar is above from where it is on the BlackBerry keyboard.

    Update to 10.3.0.1154, impressed.-img_20140930_204612.png

Android apps work and launch pretty snappy too. It doesn't lag as much when I scroll around in LINE Messenger.

Interface for the Hub is amazing. I'm interested as to what will we get when the official update rolls out for the Z10.

I hope you guys who has hesitations about flashing a new firmware should at least try it. If you're worried about accidentally touching your phone when it's being flashed, put on flight mode so there won't be any messages or calls that would distract you.

Welcome to the 10.3 club. Been running the OS for a bit now and just as impressed as you seem to be. Battery life got better after the first 2-3 days for me. Overall function in my hands on the Z30 is the best OS ever.

You need to do the keyboard fix from the link I got in my post. Everything is caps locked right? You need the SwiftKey keyboard.

Is there a reason to update from .1052 to .1154? New to all this leaked OS stuff.

    The size is 1.33GB.

Also, there are also people who say that we need to let the OS settle for a few days. I'm really interested to see how much improvement it will do on the battery life.

For every one planning on updating to 10.3 I would really recommend this method :http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...update-957892/

I used it myself to update my Z30 and it works perfectly and you don't even loose any data (Music, contacts, Apps). Everything remains on your device since you will be more or less updating how you normally would on a running phone.
I still recommend you to back your data up, but I didn't even need my Back up

On top of that it's also rather easy to do (I mean I did it ^^), since the video tutorial really helps in my opinion.
I personally would use this rather than using an autoloader, since you don't loose any data on your phone and I don't see any advantages by using an autoloader ( are there some? If yes pls tell me about them since I'm a noob )

Hey! There might be several ways to flash your firmwares, but I followed the following thread for installation guide: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...loader-927076/
And I downloaded my autoloader from the following thread, judging by your STL100-3 signature, make sure to choose STL100-2,3,4 and not STL100-1: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...1154-a-956908/

Everything is really straightforward, just backup your phone, put it on Flight Mode, download the firmware, close BlackBerry Link (make sure you close it because there's a setting that only minimizes when you click the X box to close), run the .exe file and let it install for you.

It happens when you install update to your phone via autoloader. During rebooting don't touch ur phone. It's a normal process.

Got my 3rd Z10 on Tuesday. Been a crackberry and blackberry user since my first 9630. Went android and iPhone but nothing has been the same as my BB'S. Updated to 10.3.1154 on Weds and love it so far. I get a good 14 hrs out if single charge then it is still showing 20%.

I'm liking the new UI. It still has some bugs, like swiping up predicted words doesn't always work 100%, but overall I like the look and feel. I especially like the advanced interactions.

As for battery life, as if this writing at midnight u an at 13% and I unplugged this morning at 7:15am on medium usage. Mostly emails, texting, BBM, and Facebook and Twitter, with a little Web browsing in there.

The update (leak) from 10.2 is a vast improvement. Advanced interactions is pretty awesome. Aside from "Lift to Wake" not working all the time in landscape and rotation lock (on) locking the Hub in landscape, I am very pleased.

Knowing that things will improve and get better down the road makes waiting all the more bearable. Still waiting for "USB mass storage" and "Data Services" toggles in Quick Settings. Fingers crossed =)
