Thanks for this!! I've recently been looking for a cheap BB10 device to use, before I get the Classic and wanted something through a more official channel rather than the usual eBay/Kijiji. Going to pick one up now!

The telus ones that were being sold at future shop/best buy have been sold out for months. This is a great deal for a brand new unlocked z10.

Its the "works with most carriers" that you have to be concerned about. The Z10 has different models, like the Q10.

All the canadian carriers use the stl100-3 so it will work. The z10 is not like the q10. The ones at staples are the rff121lw version

The RFF121LW and RFF91LW sub variants have baffled many members of the forum. According to all the evidence, we must conclude that they are identical. (RFF91LW works with the 1700 MHz HSPA band when it's not supposed to). Interestingly enough though I don't know why these models are explicitly labeled.

According to the z10 sticky, its RFK121LW and RFF91LW for the 100-3.
I got a refurbished Z10 one off eBay that should arrive tomorrow for $248.59
now I would prefer the new one off the Blackberry site for $240.24 - that's using the promo of $199.00, plus tax and shipping. Now I don't know what to do. Naturally, I would prefer the new one, but the eBay one says it will work on my carrier WIND, so how do I return it? (plus either way, I'll pay one place to ship it back, sigh.

Both of them will work on your carrier. You could return it and the benefit is that you get one year warranty on the new one.

I'm with wind also and the ones at staples work 100%. They are wind phones with the prd ending in 12 they are the proper rff121lw
