    Hello

Im new member in this forums and I have some questions about the new BB Z10

-I could not get the BB Z10 for two years contract becuase I don't have the social security number. Anyway I decided to buy the unlocked one but Im worry if the U.S carriers will support the LTE in their service ? Or they force me to buy it form them to get the LTE ?

    Thanks

If you bought the device outright, you can go with whichever carrier you want (providing the phone has the supporting frequency the carrier operates on). Which Z10 version do you have? STL100-3?

STL100-3 will work in the US and you will get LTE once you live in a region that LTE coverage is available (you may need a new sim card with LTE enabled from the carrier, but that's it)

For T-Mobile the best model is the STL100-3 RFK121LW.

You can buy this from Canada as well. I bought from Mobilicity and it came unlocked so no need to buy code or anything like that.

Yep, STL100-3 RFK121LW will work (should be the one t-mobile should be distributing to their customers). You can find it at Wind mobile also!

Actually in my opinion the STL100-3 RFK121LW model is the best version of Z10 for North America.

It has four HSPA+ bands as well as LTE while the RFF model has only three HSPA+ bands which are included in RFK, while both carry the same LTE bands..

Come to think of it...I came across a thread that Tmobile was selling the Z10 outright for $531.99! That's cheaper than the Carriers are selling it in Canada. Suggest confirming this price at Tmobile and you can make the purchase there!

Yea i agree, safer to go to a carrier (that's my preference anyways). Hope you do get that Z10 dude, you will enjoy it!

But didn't you say, you don't have Social Security Number (SSN) that is why you want to buy unlocked?

Yes, I can not buy the two year contract due of SSN , I also Ill be to my country after a year, so I think the unlocked one is the best choice .
