    I watched Kevin's excellent video on this topic. The one thing I don't see is, can I unlock month matter what sim is in the device or even if there is no sim? we're selling two from our business. Not going away from BlackBerry, just don't have users for these two.

    You at least need a sim in the device to access the Settings - Security - Sim Card

    You can actually unlock it without a sim card I just did that yesterday with att.
