    I did a wipe recently and now my extended or universal search doesn't show google as an option. Anyone know how to get that back in the mix?

    does it show bing instead? if so then go into your browser and change the search from bing to google maybe?

    No, shows neither. shows Help, Maps and Blackberry world....those are the only options. The browser setting shows bing google and yahoo as options beside the address bar

    Got it. I went into browser settings and pressed the "reset search providers" and they are now showing up!

    I just experienced this issue (post .822 update) but thankfully was able to resolve it with the solution mentioned above. Thanks!!

    Wow, that is one crazy bug. Glad I read this thread. I don't use universal search that much so I thought it never had that funcrion.
