Hold your finger on the text message In The Hub, not after you open the message
I have seen so far a lot of unanswered thread in here so it doesn't make any difference if he ask or not..It seems that peeps will answered a thread faster if someone bash the phone first. then those peeps get faster response
I don't remember there being a percentage on my old berry. Could be wrong tgough.

If you want galaxy note "fake coded" multitasking by one.
But with my z10 I can pay a youtube video or song, in the background whike I switch threw multiple apps. I can even open and record with my camera whike doing this. Actually the other day I was streaming dlna to my tv and got a bbm call from a buddy wanting to show off the video and screen share functionality. Needless to say I did without interrupting the movie.
I'm not sure if the g note can do that, but I know the iPhone and my LG thrill 3d can't.

They drop the bate, and people bite every time
You all realize you have waxed poetic about the OP and he has yet to repley...
Just thought I'd point that out that if he really wanted the help he would have been back on here saying thanks, but I don't think you'll ever see him post again under this handle
From the Zed of Rockivy
You may have seen a few unanwsered threads, due to the redundancy of posting without searching. But you have not seen alot of threads unanswered.
Thanks. I still don't get an error code, but pressing the phone icon only opens the phone app - it does not call the contact.
Something's amiss.

Did the op off himself?

People have so much disrespect towards each other, it's crazy, don't you agree. From all the posts between alleged "troll" and those who I would call "BB FANBOYS" I was able to find couple of messages that explained where the poster was lacking in knowledge of interface functionality without "trolling back" with phrases that start with "Wow...", "Can't imagine...." and so on, typical emotional responses, not considering the fact that it might be a real normal person, not a "paid troll", just average user who picked up z10 and wanted to give it a try. Shame on you, BB FANBOYS, any fan boys actually act in the same way.
I would love to hear more constructive responses from people who underwent a switch from BB9xxx to 10 in corporate enviroment. I had such experience and this is week number 2 when I have to answer questions about the new device every day, because INTERFACE IS NOT SO INTUITIVE as someone in BB envisioned.
I'm nobody's fan, I really, really hope BB will develop version 10 of OS so that it's much more productive, but as it stands today, it's a cool new toy, not for corporate segment.
Everything is driven by productivity these days, if you are wasting time to figure out HOW to do certain things - it's really bad for business. In the world where time is everything, wasting it makes business people very unhappy. I'm not talking about kids who like new toys, as I said new BB is a cool new toy at the moment, would make anyone excited just because it's new and slim looking.
In my opinion that's what happens to a lot of new BB10 business users right now, they are just getting lost.
Blackberry had a ton of time to investigate the status of the market and what devices dominate and how different interfaces work. Should've built on that and didn't try to re-invent the wheel. With that and productivity in mind they could develop a great great device much sooner. (That's the way Google's platform is oriented - everything a click or swipe away, not 2-3-4 clicks/swipes. Again, I'm nobody's fan, paid troll or whatever fan boys will label me with.)
I looked at the QNX Momentics IDE, running latest and previous BB10 Vmware Simulators, it's all very easy to setup and use, I really like this new freely available tools. I'm sure lots of apps are being developed right now, hopefully OS would be more and more customizable so all the interface "bugs" will be "fixed", modified with common sense and productivity in mind and not "cool new toy for my 15 year old" focus.
In my mind nothing wrong with building on something that somebody else has done. For example the idea that Apple introduced and now is an image of your common smartphone, nothing wrong with that, there is always a first in everything. Now build on that, improve. But Blackberry decided that making a phone without a center button for example would be a winning wow factor. They were not thinking about productivity clearly. For a lot of people this button is a savior, for all those lost in the interface.
Again, I'm not trying to make Blackberry look bad, I did this and would do it to everything that doesn't follow common sense and productivity paradigm the world is following today, no matter what it is, Apple, Android, Windows, Linux, Blackberry or anything else.
Thank you.
PS: Pardon my ESL :D
It was part of the menu, you couldn't get it to show on the home screen without an app

Really? Not on my Torch 9800, but trying to press those keys together is a biotch. Good thing I have Tiny Meter.
I went from a 8520 to a 9810. The shift was minor as the os was pretty much the same.
I then went from the 9810 to the z10.
The change was a bit jarring, as it is different to the old os but I soon got used to it
The interface does need getting used to but it only takes a little while and it is very intuitive.
The things I find most irritating is the lack of customised notifications. But that should be fixed soon.
As for the op, a lot of what he claims is wrong or already being fixed. It makes me wonder if he has actually used the phone.

Seriously? Wow. When paranoia turns inward...

No offense, but you managed to pick the perfect device for that comparison. I can't think of any phone I've ever used that was slower to rotate than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Try rotating it back and forth while the keyboard is opened. It would take mine around a dozen rotations before the keyboard would stop working and it force closed.
In other words, I have no doubt that the Z10 will rotate the screen faster than your Galaxy Nexus. But erm that really isn't saying much. My 9530 can rotate it's screen faster than the turd that is the Galaxy Nexus. No kidding, I tested it and had a good laugh when the Storm won.
IMO, The Galaxy Nexus was a disgrace to the Nexus line of phones at the time of it's launch and it's less powerful than even the free on contract phones of today. So yeah, just sorda cracked me up that you used it as an example.
I dont know why i keep reading these silly posts, its like i dont get pple its pretty simple, first thing is first. go back to your other platform its that simple, i dont kno bout you, but i didnt buy this phone expecting it to have everything in the first shot. If you cant be patient enough to allow the phone to mature, cuz common sense tells me not expect everything right away, but posts like this create a false sense of product, real users understand this, i suggest get another phone instead of making such silly post

My Bold and Storm never had the pourcentage on the main screen.

It was sarcasm directed at the thread I quoted. Verizon is dragging their feet on releasing the update. All other carriers have released a long time ago and those users appear to be having significantly fewer issues.

Don't want the better percentage on my screen unless it is an option I can turn off.

Sentence structure...lack of objectivity...attempt at gaining confidence...
Did the op just create a new account, to respond anonymously??
Hmmmm...
See, what bothers me is the vagueness of your reply. None of my Corporate friends, nor any of their coworkers and admin, have one complaint about BB10's interface. My 3 and 5yr old easily navigate my Z10.
Also, the vagueness in which you speak of " QNX Momentics IDE, running latest and previous BB10 Vmware Simulators", like it's a catch phrase. VMware is a separate utility from the Z10 - not BB10 - simulator. The sim can only run in a virtual environment.
I'd like to accept your opinion, but once again, when you make it known that you don't know what you're talking about, why post?
4 seconds my arse!
Call app is very slow it takes 3 to 4 seconds to load call log if u scroll it fast it just vanish puff!!
its the basic and most used feature in any mobile.. BB needs to fix it ASAP
Stop feeding the troll guys. Please close this thread.
Less than a second on this z10
I'm old and cranky so be careful
Go to hub. Press and hold a text message from there. Different side options. hit call..
