You can get the phone unlocked, but you can't change the supported bands of the hardware.

The easiest way is to contact the original carrier to which the phone is branded. Otherwise you'll have to find a third party unlocker company.

You can not use the phone on other carriers that don't broadcast on the bands your particular Z10 supports.

Check out the image Conite posted. There are only 4 models of the Z10 - each supporting a different set of bands. The bands are fixed in the hardware and can't be changed.

If the phone is SIM locked, it can be unlocked, but it won't change its band support.
