I had the same problem a couple of hours ago, but it seems to work fine now (just retried it). While the App wasn't connecting, I just opened the web browser and went to http://www.facebook.com which worked fine.

I can connect fine and even use FB app better now after the update BUT BUT BUT

My FB app is still useless BECAUSE i am missing every other news feeds. First i didn't notice it until i got a sms from my friend saying i saw the post picture in our group. I said no and tried to llom for it but i couldnt. Sms back and fort unti i used my tablet and THERE it is the post.

I then compared the FB app with FB via browser and there it is. Plainview I can see the difference. I am missing a lot of news feeds on the FB app.

I was having the same problem. Just do the following to get your feeds back and connect again on the Facebook app

Load up the following link on your z10 browser this will bring you to the mobile version of your Facebook. If you need to login, do so.

www.touch.facebook.com

Once there click on the sort button on the top right hand corner and select "Most recent ". This will bring back your feeds on the Facebook app. You can also do everything on touch.facebook.com as well. A Lot of the features not available on the Facebook app such as sharing posts and upload problems are available here and work. I tend to use both. This version is similar looking as the Facebook app so you won't even notice the difference.

Let me know if this works. It worked for me. Every time I get that message I just do what I explained above and my feeds come back again.
