    Hello, this is my first post, so I hope I didn't post this in the wrong section.

    When I updated my phone to 10.2.0.424 everything was working fine, until next day when my Z10 bricked it self, so I restored it with BB link and ever since then I've been getting the error : Unable to connect to the Blackberry ID server. Please try again. (50501) I've done everything I can (calling up network, trying a new sim, upgrading to a leak, re-installing leaks, downgraded the phone, countless battery pulls, registering it, even posted on blackberry support forums ) and i still can't fix the error. Also the blackberry icon on the top right of the screen has vanished ever sense the the phone bricked itself. Unable to connect to Blackberry ID Server. HELP-img_00000001.png

    maybe go to setting go to about choose network press overflow menu register BlackBerry

    I'm not sure if you tried - log on to the bbid server from a computer, check or recheck password, etc. Maybe even change stuff and then change it back. Good luck

    I've tried making a new one and still the same issue tried wifi too.
    I'm going to try to change information on it and see if that helps.

    Any chance you are entering the wrong password and or username? Have you tried it via WiFi or Mobile network? If all else fails, an autoloader will wipe the device and reinstall an OS - and I bet that would solve the issue for you. There are plenty of them out there, including the latest official OS 10.2 release.

    Unfortunately it didn't work, and no I've triple checked my password and combination, I reset my phone with an auto-loader today and its not helping.

    I am having the same issue. I have tried the security wipe and connecting through only wifi and still no resolution. When the error pops up it's as if the phone doesn't even attempt to connect with the server. It just, as if by default, immediately pops up. Again, this is on a Q10.

    This problem i think was related to security certificates and the date validation, you need to change the date back to aug 18 2019 i think.. there is a notice on the forum somewhere i forget.
