My screen started flickering intermittently starting yesterday. It is a subtle flicker, but I'm kinda worried. I called Rogers and asked about a replacement device, and they told me that I would have to send it in for repairs which will take 2-3 weeks. Why won't they just replace it and make my life easier?! Their argument is that I'm over my 15 day return period after initial pick-up.

Has anyone else successfully been able to get Rogers to replace their device and not having to send it in for inconvient repairs?

Not with the z but with my torch retention did send me a new refurbished one with a ups envelope to send the old one back.

The stipulation was that if I didn't courier the old one back, or if it was found to have damage caused by me I would be billed the full retail cost.

Try asking for retention. I'm just not sure if their policy has changed with the z10.
