Two thumbs whether in landscape or portrait. I use my left ring or middle finger to rest bottom of phone on.

I type all ways but one handed using a thumb is what I use moretime I think only Z10 can achieve this due to the keyboard layout.

It seems to me that the way the Z10 keyboard turns "gibberish" into words must be similar to the way Swype doesn't need accuracy. Words have a general "shape", in terms of sequences of letter regions. So the software guesses by looking at the letter regions instead of the actual letters.

This is very good. It means that SwiftKey Flow would be easy to implement, since its word recognition engine is already in use.
I'm also happy to see that some people are able to do two-thumb typing, since that's what I want if I can't have Swype/Flow.

I don't want one-finger tapping to be the only way to enter text.

I find two thumb typing the only way to type fast on this device. I find swiping words to be a waste unless only using one hand and if I have a lot of time. However Swype is very kool on android.

I type exactly the same way on my HTC One X. One hand, one thumb.

For me it has always been - Left Thumb and Right Index Finger. I've never dropped my phone and I'm fairly fast on the keyboard.

Two thumbs for sure and hold the bottom with my right pinky. Removing word suggestion actually makes it faster to type as theres no more mini stutter when the words popping up. I hope they remove the switching delay between numbers and alphabets as well as include an ability to line break.

I'm using the one finger option and I do love the finger flick but I find that when I want to delete something I quite often send it and I get a lot of whats back as a result.

I have never read about anyone like me before on here, but I have pretty long nails I have the 9800 right now and I use the virtual keyboard...hold phone with left hand and type with middle finger of right hand. Since my nails are long, I can't use the tip of my finger to touch the virtual keys....I have to use the flat, fleshy part of my fingertip. It makes typing on a virtual keyboard a bit frustrating. I'm wondering how the Z10 keyboard will be for me....I have one on pre-order

Why not try typing with just the edge of your thumb? My nails grow quite long at times and this is how I type.

    Worth a try

I used to actually use the edge of my nails when typing on my 9900 and every now and again when I cut my nails I would suffer from 'cut nails syndrome' where I had to re-adjust to typing with short nails again.

From the tip of my finger to the end of my nail is about 3/4". From the cuticle...definitely more than an inch. Yeah...really long. LOL I just tried using the side of my thumb but the nails get in the way. Oh well....if I have to keep doing it the same way on the Z10 that's ok. It'll be the Z10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Identical typing here with two thumbs and left pinky under the phone, very comfortable and very accurate typing...well auto correct names it accurate. the predictive type does a bang up job.

I have the BlackBerry Z10 flip case and somehow due to how I hold it I have adopted a hold in my right hand, right pinky holding up the bottom of the phone as some have commented and I type fastest with my right hand thumb and my left hand index finger.

I just noticed I was doing that the other day and am the fastest I have ever been on any device hands down.
