Has this always been available?

I can tap search and type:

Text "name"
Call "name"
Email "name"
Tweet "message"
Task "description of task"

What else is there? I only just became aware of the above, I did search for apps and emails but didn't know I could do the above which is neat.

Yes its always been there since 10.1

I noticed that too. I thought it was only for the q10 and I suppose that it is only useful on a real keyboard but it does work on my z10.

Thanks though, I guess I should pass on your kind leak of 10.2 for now till I fully discover 10.1 and make use of it, just goes to show there's always something new for some of us in BlackBerry 10.

Yeh dale I was under the assumption it was only for the q10 but works on the z10 too.

Quite helpful now I don't have to go in the:
Hub
Email
Compose
Tap
"Name"

Can just tap:
Search
Email "name"
