Well here i am at Denny's and to my excitement, i saw two black z10s seated beside me. I really think we are starting to get traction here. I've been seeing quite a few q10s as well.

I'm in Toronto. I think people are starting to adopt them since the price drop. The z10 shouldn't have been priced so high anyway. Hopefully this will only get better in time.

Lol there's still quite a few left. When people started to get health conscious, restaurants like Denny's and Krispy Kreme became obsolete.

They're almost as rare as BlackBerrys

But seriously BlackBerry prices always start high on contract and drop over time. Other phones probably do the same. That's how the resellers pry every last dollar out of early adopters.

We have too many Denny's and not enough BlackBerrys in the U. S.

I wish it were the other way around

They seem to be gaining a bit if traction here in NY. Seen two of my associates with Z10's recently, even though one was lamenting about the battery life. Gave him a few tips on how to preserve it, but haven't seen him since to get feedback.

Also, everyone's who's seen my Z10 in live and living colour has been impressed by both its aesthetics and the OS. Comments like, "wow, is that a blackberry?" have become the norm, as I ever more boldly and proudly display my Z10 in a most conspicuous manner.

I have 16 bbm contacts left ... of those i know for a fact that 9 have made the switch to bb10 devices.
However this number is a little skewed considering most of my friends and family are from Waterloo region so we do take more pride in Blackberry.

I don't know what OS version your friend is running, but once his device gets a later 10.1, or even better, a 10.2, battery life should become outstanding.
I used to worry about not being able to turn off my LTE here in NYC (ATT) because it was hard to achieve 9-10 hours without full drain. With 10.2, I'm hitting 15+ hours and I've got plenty of juice left when I hit the sack after 11 (Z10 STL100-3,screen brightness at 50%, LTE on, wifi on, but not connected to anything at work, bluetooth on).
My device comes off of the charger at 7 am, and there are times where I'm amazed to see between 25-40% juice left at midnight.

Haha I live here in Orlando and I tried to get my wife to get a Blackberry with me but she wouldn't let go of her iphone. I know a couple of others here that have BB. Not to many though.
